Four MFA Fine Art Students from Goldsmiths University participated in our first residency. For one week, the artists were in and out of the Kabinett, experimenting, installing, and sizing up the area.

The result is a group show whose title is a British cell phone number. When dialled, the caller arrives at a voicemail recorded by the artists, inviting them to the exhibition; a fun and creative way to cache information in a unique format.

The residency began as a school assignment, where students were asked to find their own venue to stage an exhibition. To accompany the opening, the students will invite their class and professor for a group crit staged on the street outside the Kabinett.

What is the smallest component of information? This is a public campaign of fine art communicators of what? And psychological evaluation propaganda from whom or just an exquisite corps, a game? No, the truth is way darker, an insider joke inside out like watching reals out loud up the double-decker, I recognise you from somewhere, four artists collage their works in an additive manner and something to do with randomness or shuffling? or? How do you call a house without a postal code in a romantic summer watch, the London street undress from their dim winter lights and the scientists discussing a fuzzball.
