However, what used to cost around 10 cents has now skyrocketed to as high as 45 cents per roll.

It is the second Kabinett to use this humble baked good as inspiration.

Meanwhile, the imitation gold exterior has created an impermeable layer of synthetic suffocation. So, unlike the bread rolls in Kreuzberg – which simply dried and hardened – a fine mould has started to develop, like a poetic retaliation to the disillusioned performative spectacle of wealth and opulence.
