Nina Ołtarzewska’s Buried Deep is a site specific installation initially exhibited as part of the show Wish You Were Here.

Kabinett extracted one of its various components — unknown bones or body parts that have been excavated from the sand.

The piece speaks to modern technologies and their disruption of natural processes of decomposition and is an allegory for the human body’s inability to process all the information it is given on a daily basis.
